Cycle Challenge Catch Up

As we told you back in August, a team of people from the gaming industry had set off through Europe after “gamescom” on their bikes to raise money with GamesAid for charity. After cycling from Cologne to Brighton they raised over 9000!!! Sorry we couldn’t resist…it was actually over £10,000. Some pictures of the group were shared on the Guild Wars 2 facebook page and there is also now a video on youtube of their travels.

If you would like to see James Beaven from Indigo Pearl do interesting things with Gaffer tape, or Nathan Ditum from PlayStation Access TV saying things such as “If my buttocks had a health bar, they’d be in the red” make sure to watch the video below.

One quote from Graeme Struthers (GamesAid Trustee) towards the end was rather inspiring ”GamesAid only exists because people in the games industry do things like this to raise money for other people – the more people who get involved the more we raise”.

It is actions and people like this that make us proud to be gamers and passionate about what we do with Gamers Giving Back! For more information about GamesAid and the team please read our previous post here.
